Janata Bank Nepal Limited (JBNL) has published second quarter report of FY 2074/75 stated surged in net profit by 68.42%.
As per the published report, JNBL has posted net profit of 27.17 crore in this quarter. It is increased by 68.42%. In the corresponding quarter of last year bank had posted net profit of 16.13crore.
Janata Bank has collected deposit of 52.80 arba & floated in loans & advance or 48.49 arba.
Net interest income is increased by 138.565. JNBL has posted net interest income of 97.28 crore. This leads to increased in operating profit to 22.62 crore from 15.93 crore.
Its paid up capital reached to 8.01 arba with reserve of 1.06 arba.
Its non-performing loan (NPL) stands at 2.65%. Credit to deposit (CD) ratio stands at 78.14% & cost of fund is 7.83%.
Annualized earning per share is 6.79. EPS is decreased by 51.43%. It is due bank unable to make enough profit as per the growth in paid up capital.
Net worth per shares stands at 113.33. Its PE ratio stands at 28 times.
